The frogmodels Pipercub

An excellent model for beginner and to have a relaxing flight.

This is a semi scale Pipercub inspirered by the original drawing of the Piper Cub J3. Every part are right scaled.from the plan. But there is still a little sandpaper work to reproduce the few curves of the original.

Wingspann: 1150mm

To Power it, you just need a 100W brushless motor , like an AXI 22-12-34, 3 s1p lipo accu 1800mah and you can fligh easyly half an hour at mid trottle.It can be used 3axes or 2 axes.

The piper is a very good beginning plane it glides very well, it´s is not afraid to be charged, without changing its behavior into flight (we made the test to add more 100g of lead to him )..Most beautifull turns are accompanied with the drift. All the basic figures of stunt-flying passes, ideal centering given makes it possible to fly on the back without pushing too much on the depth. The barrels are a little slow, be carrefull the beginning to take lot of altitude if you´re afraid of being surprised.Landing, is without surprise, very easy the plane lengthens a little.
